Use the physical-chemical principle of adsorption through rotary hygroscopic cylinder, "honeycomb" type. New cylinder serie “SORB+”

Manufactured using synthetic media, composed of a inorganic matrix, inert, sintered with special silica-based absorbent element, resistant to high temperatures and is washable without loss of adsorption capacity and without further impregnation with the hygroscopic element.

Options for reactivation heat source:

Electric, steam, gas (direct or indirect flame), available hot air flow, solar supplement or mixed reactivation, composed of two types of heat source, with alternate or simultaneous operation, as designed and the desired operational logic.

Principle of Operation:

The moisture laden air is admitted by the process sector of the rotary hygroscopic cylinder. The hygroscopic element absorbs the steam contained in the process air and the dehumidified air is returned to the system directly from the process output. When the hygroscopic cylinder, in slow and continuous rotation, passes through the reactivation sector the heated air causes the hygroscopic element to release the retained moisture, to be discharged to the atmosphere. After passing through the reactivation sector the dry channels penetrate again in process sector and restarts the process of adsorption. The process and reactivation air currents are separated by watertight seals coated with PTFE.
