Centrifugal Fan

RADIAL-FORWARD

BASIC DESCRIPTION

Centrifugal fan with rotor type RF, RADIAL-FORWARD, high efficiency. Model tested and certified according to the standards AMCA Standard 210 and AMCA Standard 300. Construction features, dimensions and arrangements in accordance with standards ASHRAE / AMCA.

APLICATIONS:

Ventilation, exhaust, air conditioners, ventilation and filter boxes and air conditioning systems in general.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS:

Operating Range: Flow rate up to 100,000 m3/h and static pressure up to 150 mmca.
Mechanical efficiency: Above 80% in the range of maximum yield
Fluid operated: Clean Air.
Temperature: Up to 60°C – Standard construction.

CONSTRUCTION: (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL)

● Structure - Sides with square format, structured with folds forming carbon steel panels, providing security and robustness.
● Volute - In carbon steel plates, welded on the sides, with aerodynamic "spiral" shape, sealed with polymeric thread.
● Inlet Cone - Carbon steel conformed to hyperbolic flow profile.
● Rotor - Designed with a minimum safety factor of 1.2 on the maximum speed of the class, consisting of:
   - Center - Precision machined carbon steel, fixed to the shaft with screws and "key".
   - Center plate - Carbon seel disk, high thickness, structured, clamped to the center with locked screw.
   - Blades - Carbon steel profile with radial basis and forward curved edges (RADIAL FORWARD), welded to the center plate and the rim of the rotor.
   - Rotor rim - Carbon steel with hollowed rim shape, welded to the blades, giving rigidity to the rotating assembly.
● Shaft (on the applicable arrangements) - Carbon steel SAE 1045 precision machined, minimum safety factor of 1.2 on the maximum speed of the constructive class.
● Bearings (on the applicable arrangements) - Calculated for a minimum life L10 of 20,000 hours.
● Transmission - Pulleys and "V" belts, calculated for a minimum of 1.5 times the power of the drive.
● Welding - Electrical in an inert atmosphere with qualified procedure and operators.
● Balancing - All rotating assembly is subjected to rigorous static and dynamic balancing, according to ISO 1940 and ANSI S2.19, grade G = 6.3.

SURFACE TREATMENT

According to the procedure of the standard paint of SOMAX the carbon steel parts are subjected to surface treatment by abrasive blasting grade SA-2, further epoxy based paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ and epoxy finishing paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ.
