Mixed Flow Fan

LIMIT-LOAD – “IN LINE”

BASIC DESCRIPTION

Mixed Flow fan, "IN LINE", with rotot type B, backward inclined blades, high efficiency. Model tested and certified by Chicago Blower Corporation in accordance with the standards AMCA Standard 210 and AMCA Standard 300.

APLICATIONS:

Ventilation, exhaust, industrial processes, paint systems and air treatment systems in general.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS:

Operating Range: Flow rate up to 200,000 m3/h, and static pressure up to 275 mmca.
Mechanical efficiency: Above 80% in the range of maximum yield.
Power consumption profile: "LIMIT-LOAD"
Operated fluid: Air or gases without excessive abrasive particles.
Temperature: Up to 60°C – standard construction. Above, up to 250 °C – requires special fittings.

CONSTRUCTION: (ROBUST INDUSTRIAL)

● Housing - Tubular of carbon steel plate, with flanges structured on intake (captive nuts) and discharge (with drilling).
● Inlet cone - Carbon steel plate conformed to hyperbolic flow profile.
● Rotor - Designed with minimum safety factor of 1.2 on the speed of the class consisting of:
   - Center - Carbon steel precision machined, fixed to the shaft with screws and key.
   - Backplate - Carbon steel disc, high thickness, structured, centerly fixed with locked screws.
   - Blades - Carbon steel, backwardly inclined, welded to the back plate and the rotor cone.
   - Rotor cone - Carbon steel conformed to hyperbolic flow profile.
● Shaft (Arrangement 9) - Carbon steel SAE 1045 precision machined, minimum safety factor of 1.2 on the maximum speed of the constructive class.
● Bearings (Arrangement 9) - Calculated for a minimum life L10 of 40,000 hours.
● Transmission (Arrangements 9) - Pulleys and "V" belts, calculated for a minimum of 1.5 times the power of the drive.
● Base of the motor - In carbon steel structural profiles.
● Welding - Electrical in an inert atmosphere with qualified procedure and operators.
● Balancing - All rotating assembly is subjected to rigorous static and dynamic balancing, according to ISO 1940 and ANSI S2.19, grade G = 6.3.

SURFACE TREATMENT

According to the procedure of the standard paint of SOMAX the carbon steel parts are subjected to surface treatment by abrasive blasting grade SA-2, further epoxy based paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ and epoxy finishing paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ . Other materials of construction and other surface treatments can be provided upon request.
