Axial Fan

CONFIGURABLE BLADES

BASIC DESCRIPTION

Fan, axial, rotor equipped with configurable number of blades and angle.

APLICATIONS:

General ventilation, general exhaustion, coarse filtration systems, aeration, dilution of heat and pollutant concentration.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS:

Operated fluid: air, gases or vapors free from abrasive particles.
Temperature: Up to 60°C – Standard construction. Above, up to 120 °C – Requires special fittings.

CONSTRUCTION: (ROBUST INDUSTRIAL)

● Types - Ring, Tube, Wall, Ceiling, or "Mancooler"
● Housing - High thickness carbon steel, welded with tubular shape.
● Flanges - (Construction T4 or T9) High thickness carbon steel profile, with drilling, providing strength and structure to the housing.
● Motor support - Structure structured into carbon steel plates welded to the housing.
● Rotor - With 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 12 blades with configurable angle, comprising:
   - Center - High strength aluminum-alloy, cast in special molds and machined with high precision.
   - Blades - Manufactured with unique aerodynamic profile, precisely injected engineering plastic or high strength cast aluminum alloy and machined with high precision.
● Welding - Electrical in an inert atmosphere with qualified procedure and operators.
● Balancing - All rotating assembly is subjected to rigorous static and dynamic balancing, according to ISO 1940 and ANSI S2.19, grade G = 6.3.

SURFACE TREATMENT

According to the procedure of the standard paint of SOMAX the carbon steel parts are subjected to surface treatment by abrasive blasting grade SA-2, further epoxy based paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ and epoxy finishing paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ . Other materials of construction and other surface treatments can be provided upon request.
