BASIC DESCRIPTION
Axial fan with high efficiency. Model tested and certified according to the standards AMCA Standard 210 and AMCA Standard 300
APLICATIONS:
Ventilation and exhaust in industrial processes, garages, warehouses, sheds, etc..
OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS:
Operating Range: Flow rate up to 75,000 m3/h, and static pressure up to 75 mmca. Operated fluid: air, gases or vapors without abrasive particles.
Temperature: Up to 60°C – standard construction. Up to 120 °C – requires special fittings.
CONSTRUCTION: (ROBUST INDUSTRIAL)
● Housing - High thickness carbon steel plates, welded with tubular shape.
● Flanges (In the applicable constructions) - High thickness carbon steel profile, with drilling, providing strength and structure to the housing.
● Motor Support - Welded carbon steel plates, with reinforcements, motor fixing through screws.
● Rotor - Composed of:
- Center - Rim in carbon steel plate with welded structural disk.
- Blades - Unique airfoil profile, formed by carbon steel and welded to the center of the rotor.
- Adapter sleeve - Made of 1045 carbon steel, accurately machined, bolted to the rotor hub and attached to the drive shaft with key, screws and lock washer.
- Aerodynamic protective cap - Made of aluminum plate stretched to adjust perfectly to the center of the rotor.
● Welding - Electrical in an inert atmosphere with qualified procedure and operators.
● Balancing - All rotating assembly is subjected to rigorous static and dynamic balancing, according to ISO 1940 and ANSI S2.19, grade G = 6.3.
SURFACE TREATMENT
According to the procedure of the standard paint of SOMAX the carbon steel parts are subjected to surface treatment by abrasive blasting grade SA-2, further epoxy based paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ and epoxy finishing paint with a minimum thickness of 25µ . Other materials of construction and other surface treatments can be provided upon request.
