Description:

The NDM Flexco isolators, manufactured with technology of KINETICS NOISE CONTROL, are a homogeneous and cured mixture of rubber elastomer and high-strength synthetic fibers resistant to ozo ne. The material of the isolator has a uniform behavior in all directions, which makes it possible to support heavy structural loads. The isolators are capable of receiving static loads of up to 141 kg/m2 (2000 psi) and dynamic loads of up to 70 kg/m2 (1000 psi) for impact dumping applications. An optional oil resistant coating is available.

Applications:

NDM Flexco isolators are recommended to isolate noise, vibration and impact in applications where "pad" type isolators are required. They are used when the load on the "pad" exceeds the maximum capacity of KIP models (glass fiber). Typical uses include casting equipment, steel mills, or other, where the load is high. They are also used to support concrete foundations of structures to reduce the transmission of noise and vibrations.

Specifications:

• Isolating blocks: homogeneous and uniform in all directions.

• Formed by mixing rubber elastomer and synthetic fibers of high strength.

• Resistant to ozone.

• According to ASTM in testing in all directions perpendicular to the thickness of the block.

• May have the dimensions specified with a tolerance of + / - 15% or 2 mm (whichever is greater).

• Maximum compressive stress should be limited to 141 kg/m2 (2000 psi) static load.

• Maximum compressive stress should be limited to 70 kg/m2 (1000 psi) dynamic loading.
