Description:

NDF Flexcoply isolators, manufactured with technology of KINETICS NOISE CONTROL, are made of laminated neoprene with cotton fabric developed for use in high-load, impact and vibration isolation. It uses 64 layers per inch of thickness that enable the absorption of shock and vibration by the movement of neoprene inside and around the fabric layers. The result is an available load of 703 kg/cm2 (10,000 psi) for intermittent load and of up to 140 kg/cm2 (2000 psi) for shock loads to obtain the maximum useful life.

Are available in tabled thicknesses and special dimensions as required for each project.

The NDF isolating blocks are molded to obtain hardness 90 + / - 5, can resist the temperature range of -37 ° C to 93 ° and has damping characteristics of 14% of critical, according to MIL-C-882B Class 1 . They are resistant to water, brine, fungus, bacteria growth produce only a slight swelling with SAE 30 oil. A special coating to protect against oil is available as an option.

Applications:

The NDF Flexcoply isolator block is recommended for isolation of noise, vibration and shock, which require isolator blocks for unique intermittent static loads in the range from 3.5 to 703 kg/cm2 (50 to 10,000 PSI) or shock loads up to 140 kg / cm2 (2000 PSI).

Typical industrial applications of NDF model includes the use in ball mills, drilling machines, crane rails, crushers, forging hammers, casting equipment in general, steel mills machinery, large presses and other heavy machinery. Typical non-industrial applications includes the use in civil construction as structure support and foundation of buildings subjected to noise, shock and vibration that should be isolated.
